While most students are getting ready for a wonderful Christmas break, the students at the Kelly Center will only be going home for a short visit if they have achieved a certain level in their treatment plan. The Michael Joseph Brink Foundation brought the spirit of the holidays to each student at the Kelly Center on December 15 by bringing in a fun speaker who spoke on the healing power of crystals, gifts of sports equipment and videos, approved goodie bags and lots and lots of food including Bud’s Chicken, fries and hush puppies, plus cupcakes, cookies and candies. The staff also received a gift from the Foundation. This year the students even asked if they could sing a Christmas carole. It was a wonderful time for everyone.
