The Michael Joseph Brink Foundation co-sponsored the TheatreSouth Atlanta, Inc Summer Theatre Arts Conservatory (Conservatory) at the brand new Pompano Beach Cultural Center during the summer of 2017. Per TheatreSouth, “Training and preparing  youth for a successful and meaningful career in the theatre arts is at the core of our company’s existence. We believe that it is important to expose youth to all areas of the theatre which includes but is not limited to acting, dancing, singing, stage management, set design,, technical direction, costumes and make-up, and production management. We believe that all youth, regardless of their career aspirations, can benefit from a performing arts training program.” MJBF also believes that all children benefit from exposure to the arts especially in at-risk communities which is why we choose to sponsor this worthwhile summer program.
